Just when you thought that your favourite Jordan models couldn’t get any better, Union L.A. knocked on the door and said hello. Their first collaborative project was the Jordan 1 from 2018, inspired by the love for vintage sneakers. Those two colourways rocked a “chopped and screwed” motif with carefully distressed upper, thicker leather, nubuck and yellowed midsoles. They instantly became one of the most expensive and sought-after sneakers ever. After two years both brands ventured on another project, this time the Jordan IV, which received similar hype and love. Other than these two silhouettes, Union L.A. also lended their magic touch to models such as the Jordan 2, the Nike Dunk Low or the Nike Cortez. Union L.A. was born in 1989 to showcase love for community art and fashion, their first shop opened in SOHO, NYC and the Los Angeles shop came soon after.
