Easy on, easy off. Nike is proving to us once again, that innovation is super deep within their brand DNA.
Whether it's the innovation for the sake of design or the other way around is for a different discussion, but there is no doubt that just in the past year their Space Hippie upcycle/sustainable collection or their Adapt self-lacing technology made the headlines in all tech and fashion media outlets. Their latest innovation comes in the form of the very first Hands-Free footwear - the Nike Go FlyEase. Accessibility-focused footwear solutions for handicapped people was the first impulse that leads to this week's reveal of the brand new model Go FlyEase. Unique and futuristic looking slip-on silhouette offers construction that transforms for easier access for the toe to slide in. on foot, the sleek design uses design language similar to the Sock Dart or other laceless offering from Oregon brand, however, laying on the ground - not on feet - the shoe flips, ready for the next wear. We suspect Nike hit a home run with this one, as it helps both people with disabilities and provides cool super wearable sneaker for everyday use for everyone else. Expect a release date of February 15th on Nike.com and the SNKRS app. The future is now!
