These are them, the sneakers we all wanted in 2022, but they seem like they're impossible to get.

They look exactly like the sneakers you'd want to wear. First you spend five minutes looking for what model it is. When you finally find out it's a New Balance 1906R, you spend another half hour looking for these particular ones that look like they fell out of a "Best sneaker trends of 2022" guide. And finally, you give up the search.

Lots of 550 colourways have made it into the maintream and you can get them for retail in no hurry. And then there are similar grey and beige designs that hold the standard hype and are impossible to get.

Salomon x Hidden NY
A photo like this always reminds you that you're missing a pair of Salomon XT-6 sneakers in your rotation. As soon as you see them, you go out looking for them. But you'll never find any that are close enough, and you don't want them in all-black. Eventually, you admit to yourself that you're neither an outdoor ninja nor an @hidden.ny admin and give up the search.

Nike Air Max 97 x Comme des Garçons
The Nike Air Max 97 was supposed to have hype this year, but that didn't quite come through in the end. We saw some solid colorways and the big return of the Silver Bullet. It's just a shame there weren't more collaborations like this one with Comme des Garçons.

Nice Asics sneakers, aren't they? So give them a like and let's move on. Instead of the jjjjound collab, you can try some other colorway, put on a beige sweatshirt and pretend you're ok with it.
