Sneakers and collaborations what should have been hype in 2022 but weren't.
There is always that one collab you think will break the internet and everything will change, but then it happens and you are just like “meh, whatever”. That’s exactly what happened with this years collaboration between Nike and Acronym. The only cool thing was, that you can make your own heel part of the Blazers on a 3D printer. Or the Nike Jacquemus Humara, its alright but looking at it just makes you want to sleep. The Humara is outfitted with quality leather and suede, the sneakers are also accompanied with a premium-feel clothing collection. The “big” re-release of the legendary Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet? An unexpected flop, same with the Air Force 1s with Undefeated or with Billie Eilish, adding 20 straps just isn’t enough Billie, we are sorry. The last spot is reserved for New Balance 550s with COMME des GARÇONS HOMME. They just could have done so much with the sneaker, and they did so little. The two monochromatic collab colourways didn’t raise any eyebrows, but they certainly will find a place in your wardrobe, if you are looking for a versatile sneaker, that will go with anything.
