About model Nike Air Force 1 High

In 1982, Bruce Kilgore (designer) decided to design a basketball shoe that would stand out with its appearance. At the time, he was the first to use air technology for basketball sneakers. He added the well-known circular pattern at the outsole which fixes the toe firmly to the pitch for a perfect pivot. There is also the famous ankle strap for tightening the shoe, which to some extent polarized the public in terms of the appearance of the shoes. Nike had no big plans with the AF-1, so it stopped production after two years. But the hunger for Air Force 1 by the sneakerheads was too great to ignore. Before the shoes returned to production in 1986, we could see a boom in customs, with eager customers adjusting the AF-1 to their image. Nike opened up a new sneaker horizon on the East Coast without even intending to. Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York and especially then Harlem adored AF-1 and renamed them to "Uptowns". The most famous colour combination to this day is white on white, despite the fact that the shoes received countless CWs and collabs. In short, from the music scene, for example, Kanye West, Nas or Rakim.
