Off-White

The name "Off-White" was inspired by the concept of a blank canvas, symbolising the brand's openness to interpretation and creativity. It's founder Virgil Abloh was a trained architect before pursuing a career in fashion, and this background influenced his approach to design and aesthetics. Virgil Abloh was a trailblazer in the fashion industry. His work not only elevated Off-White but also had a broader impact on the world of fashion, art, and design. Tragically, he passed away in 2021, leaving behind a lasting legacy. He made Off-White renowned for its distinctive design approach, which combines elements of streetwear culture with high fashion. Bold images, lettering, and distinguishing design elements like zip ties are frequently used to represent the brand. It is also easily recognizable by its distinctive branding, which includes the use of quotation marks around words, such as "OFF-WHITE," and the incorporation of diagonal stripes in its designs. After collaborating with Kanye West his career moved forward and eventually, there was a misunderstanding between the two of them after Virgil signed up for working with Louis Vuitton.
