Air Force 1

Even though the Nike Air Force 1 is one of the most worn Nike’s silhouettes, they didn't have big plans for them in the beginning. The brand even stopped its production after two years. Luckily, sneakerheads were clamouring for the return of this model so much that Nike couldn't ignore it. Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York and especially Harlem loved the Air Force One and renamed them "Uptowns". By the time the shoes went back into production, this custom phenomenon had spread. As we are all familiar with, Nike Air Force can be spotted at every corner, in every city, on any continent. Today, the most famous colour combination is undoubtedly the "white on white". Iconic Swoosh and durable construction would be the shoes’ key features. Various colours, from the minimalist colourways all the way to bold and crazy designs. The AF1s are also a common choice for collaborations, and names like Billie Eilish or the Ambush brand, lead by Yoon Ahn, introduced their own models. Although the number of Nike’s collaborations, in general, is enormous.
