The Crocs sandal that revived a piece of our childhood. This collaboration not even brought back a sneaker model, but brought back to life a whole brand, how powerful is that. Okay, maybe that part about giving the life back is too much, but really, did anyone think that a Crocs Clog sandal can be cool like a few years ago? Certainly not. But like a thunder from a clear sky came the Salehe Bembury collab and shook the sneaker scene. The sandal is an utilitarian exploration of form and function. Comfortable, breathable, futuristic and undeniably stylish, those are the adjectives I would use when I am looking at this strangely beautiful piece of art. Not every sneaker has the ability to be your comfy home sandal or the statement piece when wandering around city streets during fashion week, these certainly can do both!
