Yeezy is a popular fashion brand and collaboration between American rapper, producer, and fashion designer Kanye West and the sportswear giant adidas. Founded in 2015, Yeezy has become a prominent player in the world of fashion, particularly in the streetwear and sneaker industries. Controversy has been a main issue within the adidas x Kanye collaboration. The American rapper has caused a lot of drama with his opinions and statements. Luckily for him, it didn't change the fact that he designed what could be named a sneaker empire. The two have created successful footwear and clothing lines, adored by millions of people worldwide. Ye is a master of attention. He simply knows how to get it. He has presented his collections in various formats, including runway shows, performances, and multimedia presentations. Partnership between sport brand adidas and artist Ye officially started back in 2015. It's nearly a decade since the first release. Ye was trying to establish a collaboration that would provide royalties for the new Yeezy styles and adidas jumped into it. The first Yeezy Boost 750 were an ultimate hit. The adidas Yeezy Boost 750 Light Brown” is the name of the very first release from Ye. People were camping outside just to get this silhouette. Lower silhouette came right after and later on, you could've seen replicas everywhere. With 350 it was definitely easy to copy the original. The “Pirate Black” colourway is so versatile, it was wanted long after its release. What was even more popular and is, without a doubt, the most popular and highly wanted model is the 350 V2. Whether it became mainstream or not, that's for a longer discussion. Nevertheless, we should state the “Zebra” model for example, the iconic 350 V2 “Beluga” with its striking orange stripe on the side. The V2 is definitely better designed than its original predecessor. It came with two important changes - it lacks the pull tab and a “SPLY - 350” branding was added. Since Ye is a bit controversial and a real futurist, of course he had to launch a pair of Foam Runners to spice it up. There was a fine amount of silhouettes presented within the collaboration and even though adidas and Ye had to take a break for a while, they came back strong and Yeezys are hitting the streets around the world again.
