Mischa and Oliver began writing blogs for various German sneaker magazines. So they have a great overview of sneakers and storytelling at the same time. Without great ambitions and plans, they founded their own brand of sneakers Flaek Footwear.

This was followed by the opening of a small store in Fuldo (a small town in Germany), where they would try their luck in retail. They chose their favourite brands and models of sneakers - all in modest numbers and put together their first offer. Their refined taste and great overview made their small shop a hot spot among all sneaker shops. Every good sneakerhead dreams of visiting a 43einhalb store one day.
