Gianni Versace had a close relationship with his sister, Donatella Versace, who later became the company's creative director. This sibling duo played a pivotal role in the brand's success. Donatella became an icon of the company. The former home of Gianni Versace in Miami Beach, Florida, is known as the Versace Mansion. It's now a luxury hotel called The Villa Casa Casuarina and is a popular tourist attraction. Versace has been a member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture since 2012, allowing them to showcase their haute couture collections in Paris. The brand has dressed multiple celebrities for their red carpet occasions. One of the greatest examples is JLo's green Versace dress worn by the singer to Grammy Awards in 2000. Besides clothing the brand's icons are also handbags and accessories which feature Versace's signature design elements. The iconic Versace logo features the head of Medusa, a mythological figure from Greek mythology. Gianni Versace chose this symbol because he believed it represented both beauty and danger.
