WTAPS

WTAPS (pronounced double taps) is a Japanese streetwear based in Tokyo. Their inspiration comes from old military garments, quick and modern urbanist lifestyle and precision of traditional Japanese carpenters called 'Miya-Daiku' who are known to be highly skilled workers. Their first collections made in the 90s looked like they came straight from military surplus store, featuring large functional backpacks, boonie hats, cargos, and field jackets—all presented in a spectrum of olive drab, camouflage, and ripstop. After some time, WTAPS established their brand as one of the Japanese finest. WTAPS collaborated with brands like Carhartt, Vans, New Balance, Bape, Supreme or Undercover.
