"Vans of The Wall" was founded in 1966 by the Doren brothers along with partners Gordon Lee and Serge Delia, who opened a factory called The Van Doren Rubber Company in California on March 16. The brand was most famous for the Vans Authentic model, but other models were gradually added.
Vans brand is inherently associated with the skate subculture, but it is also popular with musicians and surfers. It's safe to say that Vans is now one of the leaders in street fashion around the world.
